Our users are awesome. I know we say this a lot, but it’s true.
First, there’s the continuous stream of feedback and suggestions that we receive from users and has shaped how we improve Meebo. Features like custom buddy icons, saved IM history, and a version of Meebo for the iPhone are all a direct result of comments from our users, either through the surveys we ask you to fill out from time to time or from your contacting us directly.
We also get our own non-celebrity version of fan mail. From around the globe, we get postcards and emails from people who are using Meebo while on their travels—cuz you all know how cool it is to be able to access your IMs from any computer, on any network, at any time (end totally self-indulgent PR message 
)—and want to drop a line to thank us. We proudly display many of the postcards on a wall in the entryway to the Meebo office.
And then there are the serious Meebo fans. Some of our users get so excited about our service, they do things like taking pictures of themselves wearing Meebo t-shirts in some distant locale, or using the Meebo service on a laptop in a strange place, and they send us a photo or two.
I was recently reminded about something cool that one of our users did last summer with the Meebo logo. Pat wrote in to let us know that he used the car livery editor in Forza Motorsport 2 on the Xbox 360 to make a virtual Meebo racecar, using multiple layers of gradients to make our logo sparkle just right.

Okay, yeah. The meebo racecar is completely awesome…that’s some serious fan dedication!
However, what I’d really go for? Meebo t-shirts that the profit would actually go towards Meebo. After all, what’s the point in buying merchandise to support something when the money you spend isn’t even going towards that company? If there’s already an online meebo store, you should put a link to it somewhere on the website. And if there’s not…there should be!

hey I would like to make a suggestion, I am not very computer savvy, so how about adding a spell check for us to use and not have to turn away to check spelling or how do i do so? thanks to meebo my husband to be and i communicated from austin,tx to the uk. if we could only figure out how to use the tok box. that would really be awsome. thanks meebo

To all of my friend out there and the ones whom I have not had the pleasure of meeting just yet:- I know that this is off the topic but I have not found a way to do this blogging thing just yet. So here goes-
I was once a member of the Hi5 site and wish to put a warning out about the persons who run this site. They make a big push of the “Terms of Service” yet they do it very willy-nilly and put out those who seem to be selected at random. I am one of the lucky ones and not very happy about it. After joining a group to improve Hi5 the BS began. I would strongly suggest that if you are a member that you leave there or at least stay away from some of the groups and do not allow any to post to your account or your bio page with out your permission and approaving what is put there first. Someone had put something into my small area there and all of a sudden my account is closed. This is just a warning and I hope that all who fit into these circumstances will be for warned because it is for armed and I do not want any others to get int o this problem with them. IN the mean time, I wish all well and hope that you have a really great day.

I use Meebo at work because it doesn’t require me to download anything. When I came in this morning I was almost frantic that I couldn’t access the site! (I’m sure most of you understand that tolerating the work day is much easier when you can talk to people!) I did a quick search for thing similar to Meebo, and someone had posted e-messenger.net somewhere. I must say… That site was absolutely atrocious!! I didn’t like the interface, it was covered in ads, and even a few pop ups, my buddy list was incorrect..I quit before even five minutes of being signed in and just decided to wait for Meebo to be revived.
So, I’d like to thank all of you over there for getting everything back up and running very quickly, for the awesomeness of convenient, CLEAN and professional IM website, and other general awesomeness

It would be great if you Meebo folks published on your home page a note/message/warning saying that there are connection problems, because I spent my morning getting frustrated and thinking I was doing something wrong to establish my connection.
As a customer, I find it easy to be patient with issues of performance but frustrating when there are issues with communication.

I love Meebo! The work that you all do to make this site even better and cooler is so appreciated! I really do love how simple Meebo is. Meebo is so easy to use and has such a simple layout. All you see on the page that pulls up is your buddy list and then the back ground you chose, and of course the blogs which sometimes I find actually quite interesting.

Just a suggestion: perhaps a separate website not linked directly to meebo.com that gives the status of the servers\isp\whatever. That way when we cant connect (and it happens every so often) we can check that site to see its status and not waste time rebooting, etc. And if you do have such a thing let us know about it.

Meebo is the greatest online chat client of all time, I have been using meebo for over 2 years daily and meebo is such a part of my daily lexicon, like my wife and I will meebo each other all day long, to the point where meebo is now a verb, like “are you going to meebo me when you get home?” or “meebo me after you’re out of that meeting” “Can you meebo me when you know what time I need to be there..” etc.
As a staple in any favorites folder I have seen meebo just get better and better and every new innovation meebo adds makes me more excited to use the service… Just wanted to say thanks again for providing such a valuable service!!!

Please make Meebo more stable … even when I’m on an incredibly fast, high-speed connection, I get booted from Meebo like once an hour. And it happens more often in Firefox.

Was wondering if Meebo ever thought of doing video blogs. I think it would be much better since I have a feeling people rarely have the patience to read through things now. I feel like video can run while I’m checking my friends and see who is online. It would probably reach a lot more people than you are doing right now. Just a thought.

Meebo is amazing. Wonderful. And that movie player is sweet! No ads, except inside the movie player, lol. Great work guys.
A friend sent me to this service.
I work with others to make an OS and we cant use our IM program when developing, because you cant clear the cache, so I just logon and use meebo!
