Click here to watch meebo’s lunch 2.0 video
Sandy wrote a post a little while back about the Lunch 2.0 that we hosted at our office in Palo Alto, California. For those of you who missed it…Lunch 2.0 was started by the folks over at Plaxo. The idea is that different companies host lunch gatherings of people in the tech space in Silicon Valley.
meebo hosted our second Lunch 2.0 last Tuesday, which we dedicated to all of the summer interns in Silicon Valley. Lots of people showed up (way more than we anticipated!).
Sandy had some great photos that she shared in her last post. But we thought it was fantastic when some of our friends (thanks Holly!) over at AOL posted a video they took of meebo’s Lunch 2.0!
So check it out…Sandy, Elaine and I are all on the video, as are other folks from meebo and many of Silicon Valley’s summer interns. Pretty neat

Posting a video of any of the meebo staff giving a public speech is a great idea. Please do more of it. This is one of big reasons why meebo is different than everyone else out there….I’ve enjoyed watching your organization grow from the beginning…

Sheet cake, how original! Just kidding. Fun to see silicon valley shops and what they do for fun. In the midwest, I’ve got this idea that all silicon valley companies (especially startups) are more laid back and fun to work out.

Wonderful! I am beginning to feel like I know you, and that is the point isn’t it? It is really great to see the youth in the faces that are changing the face of social computing. In Boston I send you a cheer for the impact you are making. Keep up the good work.

That’s because Sandy, Elaine, and Seth are all very personable and approachable, and I think it comes across in the video. There was nothing staged about the video, that’s them in their natural state. I think they are the main reason (besides having a good product) are the reason why Meebo has such passionate users. Keep up the good work guys! =)

hey tiffany – that’s no good! where are you geographically? we’ve noticed that sometimes people’s connections get flakey, and meebo’s pretty sensitive to the “quality” of your connection. my guess is it’ll be better tomorrow…but definitely let us know if it continues! seth

also, if you\’re experiencing disconnections, can you let us know which network(s)? (aim, msn, y!, etc) which server (www#)? and what time of the day (include timezone)?
thanks!

I absoluteley LOVE meebo. I want to thank you guys, and gals..lol
For all of your hard work and dedication.
I just recentely moved to Alaska, and the connection here is spectacular. I did however have some problems, with it kicking me off and such, while I was liveing in Idaho.
This is such a great idea, and you dont have to download anything.
So it makes me feel so much safer, chatting with my friends back home.
Well thanks meebo experts! We all love ya here!

Best Places to Meet Girls” was probably the most helpful to me. The author has obviously been to hundreds of bars, nightclubs, discos and through trial and error has developed a system to talk to girls. These techniques can save a shy guide from many…

I gather always different opinions about web 2.0 and how to market with the different mindset of the \”new\” Internet. Will social interaction and networking really make the web different? Thanks for your thoughts on this!
