Last Thursday, the Meebo office celebrated Thanksgiving a week early with a potluck here in Mountain View. Sue brought a couple of deep-fried turkeys that were demolished, Sandy brought a duck—not traditional but super tasty—and everyone else pitched in with sides, salads, and a massive array of desserts that ranged from Mo’s apple pie to Paul’s sponge cake to Andrew’s cheesecake to Diem’s peach pie to Jim’s cranberry apple crisp to …
Well, you get the picture. And here’s a photo of some of the desserts, just in case you don’t get the picture!
The New York office followed up on Friday with a smorgasbord of their own, and the NY Meebo fridge housed 4.5 pounds of pork that made its way into a crock pot for one serious feast:
So for those of you that celebrate it, have a wonderful Thanksgiving, complete with family, friends, and food. And if you don’t normally celebrate Thanksgiving, give it a try. It’s not too complicated. Just get together with the people you care about and chow down (and don’t forget to say “thanks”)!
