The last couple of days have been pretty hectic in the meebo office! Everyone on the team has been incredibly busy, from working on meebo’s next features to interviewing potential future team members, and, of course, the occasional game of four-square. I’ve been trying to tie up a bunch of loose ends before an upcoming week of pretty heavy travel!
Tomorrow I’m off to Seattle, and while that’ll be a one-day hop, the very next day I head off to Boston, followed by a quick (and I’m sure quite chilly!) trip to Toronto (my first time…so excited!). In Boston I’ll be meeting students at Harvard and MIT, and also chatting with a couple of interesting startups. Toronto’s a whole different story. I’ll be attending a conference called Youth Power, which should be pretty interesting. They have panels with titles like “Urban Myths.” Cool. I’m pretty excited to hear what people have to say!
While I’m in Boston and Toronto, it’d be fantastic to meet anyone who may be in the area while I am! To that end, on Saturday, February 24th from 2-3pm I’m going to be hanging out in the Au Bon Pain in downtown Cambridge, right next to the Harvard T stop. Then, on Tuesday, February 27th from 7-8pm I’m going to be hanging out at the Starbucks at 155 Univeristy Avenue.

Just a tidbit of info, Boston should only be a couple of degrees warmer than TO. So make sure you bring your long johns left coaster!
You might want to try having a Tim Hortons coffee while in TO instead of Seattle-based Starbucks. Glad to hear you’re crossing the border.

Actually Toronto is rather mild right now, it’s hovering around 0C. You’re going to miss the heinous cold snap we just broke out of. the weekend is suppose to be chilly, but tuesday should be too bad. I work just west of the city, but hopefully I can swing by downtown to see you next tuesday! I’ve been a meebo fan for 4 or 5 months now.
Definately go for a Tim’s coffee while you’re here. It’s a lil more Canadian.

I would have liked to make it to the Boston meet, but work is definitley preventing me from making it. I am somewhat new to Meebo, but I am a huge fan. I am never going to back to any of the other IM clients. I used to use Trillian all the time, but now Meebo is my prefered IM client since it is web based.

rock n roll…..i’m a meebo fanatic, and sneezer(telling all my friends to make the switch) for sure there are thigns that I’d like to have(voip, file trans, etc) but I rarely use them, hence meebos been great.

When I try to get the meebo page to load on internet explorer, every time it says “Error on Page.” So I have to use Netscape. Why is it not working lately? It used to work on Explorer fine. Thanks!

ok i’m kinda getting annoyed. i’m staying @ someone’s house who doesn’t have AIM so i can’t download it and meebo will not work. yea, it worked for a little last night and a little earlier today. but then it signed me off and refuses to wor. the signing in sign just satys there until i just close the fricken tab. it will not signme in. wut the heck is wrong wit it?!?!
