We’re finally out in the open (to friends and family at least).
We hope that meebo makes everyone’s online life a little easier (and more fun!) by aggregating all of your IM accounts in one place, cleaning up all of your chat windows into a single window, and the best part — no software download! You can login anytime, anywhere, as long as you have a browser.
We know meebo is lacking a bunch of features (like the ability to add new buddies), but we wanted to release early to get everyone’s input. We’re going to be adding new features every day, so keep coming back.

This is so kool! Now I can freely use my split IM personalities without being paranoid about missing someone important online! Q- If it is a security issue, and not one of ethics, is Meebo a safe environment?

I’m a bit wary about your site because I can’t figure out the revenue model.
It doesn’t seem to be right, because if you don’t earn money from ads or subscriptions, it makes me wonder why you would do this, and how you will sustain this.
Perhaps you should address this concern, which will help people be confident that you do not use private data or track such.

Knowing something about meebo.com, i became lover of this site. It is very useful for everyone to get connected to our friends & family all times whenever we are connected to the internet. Without installing any of the software we can use internet messaging through this site even when we are at office, school or college we can use this website.
& I wish you all who are related to this site for the better improvement and get a great achievement as were wish. It would be better if you add voice chat and video chat.
Hope you will add all the features of web messanging in near futures.

This is great. I was having problems with things sneaking into my PC with the instant messaging programs. This let’s me keep in touch without that worry.
Please add a feature to remember userids. Please don’t remember passwords or allow file transfers. Too easy for a virus, trojan, worm, etc to get in there.

Nice job guys, Finally u have proposed a very good piece of cake in front of ppl who have no access to im’s in office/schools.
I like to propose to include somthing like dynamically changing the ip-address of the site which will be delivered on mails on daily basis.
As it is not always to possible to use proxys to connect to meebo.
The best part is you guys keep informing us by posting a note on the login page itself, which is really connecting.

It would be wonderful if you integrate the Rediff-bole (http://messenger.rediff.com/newbol/) messenger too into Meebo. This Rediff messenger is quite popular in India… most people have a “@rediffmail.com” account and wish to chat on Rediff.

I like what you’re doing with Meebo, and reading your blog from the beginning has been quite an illuminating experience.
