October…it’s that time of year where leaves are turning crimson, the misty air feels crisp to the bone, and the ghastly presence of Halloween lurks all around. (play evil laugh)
In the spirit of this wicked holiday, The creative team had some fun in the lab resurrecting dead pixels into glowing spirits of light. Amidst the crackling buzz of Jacob’s Ladders and twitch-tapping keyboard clicks, we have brought to life a spooky meebo Halloween skin and some new emoticon treats.

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. I guess it’s because of the flurry of creativity and fun that surfaces all around. The influence of Halloween’s visual delight is everywhere to be seen.
Everything from vampires and spooky candle-lit jack o’ lanterns to trick-or-treaters are revealed on the blackest of nights. Some will be anxiously awaiting a visit from the Great Pumpkin.

i noticed some problems using meebo with google chrome.
The link for helloween skin works in firefox but not in chrome.
In chrome i have not the link for adding other accounts under the list of accounts. In chrome, under the box with all the accounts, i have suggestion for seeing a video of someone (i don’t remember who), but in firefox i haven’t
I like telling you so that meebo can be even better

I love the theme <3 Very cool. My birthday falls on the day after Halloween so it is one of my favorite holidays
Halloween has lost some of it’s magic for me over the years, however, as not too many trick-or-treaters seem to show up in our lane any more. It’s a shame, really because I love dressing up to hand out candy. Seeing all the cute little ones in their store bought or (rarely) hand tailored costumes is always a highlight. I’m sure this year my family on the opposite coast is planning a big scary presentation on their front porch to scare the trick-or-treaters, as they seem to get more over there in Cali. I hate to miss out but that’s what I get for moving to the bible belt lol
The only costume I have on hand right now is my own version of Roman Dirge’s Lenore. Maybe I’ll don it if we see more then two children on our doorstep.

good day, i noticed some problem when using meebo,i find out that when u are online,the system just sign you out,because of network, i feel something should be done about that,..and also the issue of people buzzing from yahoo messenger,i feel meebe should have a buzzing machine too.thank you for the improvisation

New emoticons don’t work, changing room icons and individual avatars is hit and miss, warnings are all screwed up, youtube videos don’t play, random room outages…. Looks like the only thing scary this halloween is Meebo itself.
(Sorry, you guys know I’ve praised you plenty in the past, but I have to tell the truth when it is warranted. Lately your service has been a mess.)

I tried out the halloween theme for a second, and the new emoticons finally starting showing up. Doesn’t appear as though you have to keep the halloween theme for them to continue working.

Hallloween is a great time but right now I would like to point out some safety tips to all!
1. TAKE A FLASHLIGHT!
2. Don’t wear an all black costume..if you do make sure you put reflector stickers on you or make yourself visible.
3. GET IN A GROUP! don’t go trick or treating by yourself. have atleast 1 other person with you.
4. Take a fully charged cell phone.
5. Always check candy before eating it.
6. Keep pets inside or on put them on a leash.
7. BE CAREFUL!!
8. HAVE FUN!

I was a half-cat warrior this year like every other year.. only i just change around the markings on my face. For some odd reason.. a few kids who came thought my costume was scary when all i was wearing was black clothes (that i’d usually wear any other day), and the cat ears.. dunno if the markings i tried out this year had anything to do with it O_o
and not that many people came out this year.. maybe ’cause it’s windy or something.. only 40 came by (mom counted the candy we had left and it was out of 65)

Ugh, my Halloween was suck-ish. My boyfriend’s ex-girlfriend had a party. She knows me, we talk, but only for the sake of Michael because he’s still friends with the annoying bitch. She didn’t invite me, but she invited Michael. AND the people who were going to be in my group costume. Without them, the costume didn’t make any sense and I didn’t have another one. And Michael agreed to go to party. So I had to stay home and pass out candy! But I couldn’t even do that because my brother got grounded and had to do that.
But I guess it got better because I hung out with my neighbor’s and they gave me all the chocolate candy/animal crackers. Then we went to a party down the road and made up a LOT of inside jokes…
But still. It hurts to be excluded. But it hurts even worse to be excluded by your boyfriend and some of your best friends.

ooOOohhh Halloween is hubby’s favorite holiday!! I like the evil laugh…anyway i can make that a ring tone?? Halloween is big in our neighborhood….lotsa kiddies (and teens, and adults!)…..all ended well…….UNTIL 4AM…..so weirdo kept ringing our doorbell, he was crying, smokin a cigarette, and u could tell he was pretty jacked on something…hubby calls 911…….the operator even asked what our phone # was…uh hello, they know EVERYONE’s ph#….w/in 5-7 mins…4 squads, 2 fire engines, 1 fire n rescue AND 2 bikes come by…..and take him away….A VERY INTENSE halloween….so hope ev1 had a safe halloween……..

i have never experianced hallowen because i live in australia but i love going to hollowen partys they r awsomese my brothers teacher is scared of mice so she was on the window with her feet up and then she dressed up as a black cat for hollowen hahahaha it was funny because my brother could not take her seriously for the whole lesson it was high-lerious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

instead loosing time doing “halloween useless skins” i would rather try to fix the spam problem that meebo is having right now. I get a spam message every 10-20 mins, if i leave meebo open and i go away, i return at my pc and it’s a total mess distinguishing spammer users from my real friends messages. So before meebo will became useless (but looking nice, wow), try to put an effort into this.
